  • Alex Cross – Writing Program and Center Assistant

    Alex is a political science major and sociology minor here at Eastern. They are most familiar with APA and ASA formatting. They’ve involved in the Unity Wing and usually can be found making pies and listening to “Hamilton.”

    Grayson Jeffries

    Grayson is a sophomore majoring in English and Secondary Education. He’s been interested in literature since he was an adolescent, and in becoming a teacher since his sophomore year of high school. Every Friday from 3-4pm he hosts a radio show at the campus station (WECS 90.1 FM), where he plays a variety of bands and genres and rambles about music-related factoids in between songs. He also writes songs of his own. If he’s not on campus, he’s mostly likely down at Willimantic Records or some other venue, seeing various local Connecticut musicians perform.

    Kiliana Lugo is a junior double majoring in Secondary Education and English. She intends on pursuing a career as a high school English teacher, and someday a high school Principal. Kiliana is most familiar with MLA formatting. She is also fairly fluent in Spanish. Kiliana enjoys being involved on campus as the Secretary of the Organization of Latin American Students.     Laura Pérez-Handler

    Laura Pérez-Handler is graduating this spring, and is a Sociology major with minors in Communications, Anthropology, and Writing. Hopefully, the future will see her getting a graduate degree in Applied Anthropology. Whenever she manages to smuggle some free time she loves to garden, go on hikes, eat, be artistic, sleep, read, and cook/bake.
