BenchmarkCT Coordination

The Institute for Sustainable Energy is facilitating coordination of municipal benchmarking efforts in Connecticut to ensure a consistent benchmarking framework statewide, develop an inventory of all municipal buildings that have Portfolio Manager accounts, coordinate benchmarking support efforts, train and engage student interns to do benchmarking, and develop a strategic framework for benchmarking K-12 schools and municipal buildings that aligns with the State’s energy programs and priorities.  Contact Us for more information and to participate in this coordination effort.

BenchmarkCT Help Center

The BenchmarkCT Help Center, staffed by the Institute for Sustainable Energy, provides assistance to Connecticut municipalities, campuses, state agencies, and non-profits with energy benchmarking.

Training Sessions

The Institute for Sustainable Energy takes part in the ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager Trainer’s Network, allowing us to help train other users.  We can help set up an ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager account for your town, campus, or agency and assist you through the data collection and benchmarking processes.

Our Portfolio Manager training sessions teach participants how to collect energy data, upload it to ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager with their building demographics, and develop benchmarking reports of their own while offering assistance along the way.  We can also assist with one-on-one training sessions via Skype or in person.
