Voice/Choral Music

The Music Program offers a variety of ensembles including, Concert Chorale, Eastern Chambers Singers, S/A Choir, T/B Choir, and Opera Workshop (Click HERE for more information about ensembles). Many of our students participate in at least two of these ensembles each semester. All of our ensembles are open to all students on campus regardless of major. Eastern’s choral ensembles have performed at some of the nation’s top venues, including Carnegie Hall and The National Shine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Our students collaborate regularly with regional orchestras and professional choirs and soloists.

Private voice lessons are available for all interested students as space allows. Music Majors choosing to concentrate their studies in voice performance receive private lessons each semester for either 1.5 (1/2 hour) or 3 credits (1 hour). There is no additional fee for students enrolled in lessons. For more information about private voice study, please click here.
