Diversity Inc. – By providing foundational information about the business benefits of diversity, DiversityInc has been a catalyst in moving diversity from a compliance mandate to a serious business discipline. Founded in 1998, DiversityInc expanded from its origins as an online publication, DiversityInc.com, into a monthly national magazine in 2002.
Diversity Link – DiversityLink, launched in 1997, is “The website that links females, minorities and other diversity professionals with proactive employers and search firms offering outstanding career opportunities.” They currently have 52 affiliates including Jobs40Plus and JobsnAlabama thru JobsnDC.
Diversity Web – The DiversityWeb Staff is a group of dedicated higher education professionals devoted to connecting, amplifying and advancing campus diversity work throughout postsecondary education. The DiversityWeb project is housed within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Global Initiatives at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Global Initiatives (DEGI) sees diversity and global knowledge as essential elements of any effort to foster civic engagement among today’s college students..
MANA – MANA, A National Latina Organization, was founded in 1974 as the Mexican-American Women’s National Association. MANA’s original intent was to provide a voice for Mexican-American women at the national, state and local levels. Since then, the organization has expanded into a diverse group of Latinas in all areas of political, social and professional fields. MANA is unique since this makes MANA the single largest pan-Latina organization in the United States.
NAFEO – The mission of NAFEO is to champion the interests of historically and predominantly black colleges and universities with the executive, legislative, regulatory and judicial branches of federal and state government and with corporations, foundations, associations and non-governmental organizations; to provide services to NAFEO members; to build the capacity of HBCUs, their executives, administrators, faculty, staff and students; and to serve as an international voice and advocate for the preservation and enhancement of historically and predominantly black colleges and universities and for blacks in higher education.
NASPA – NASPA, student affairs administrators in higher education, is the leading voice for student affairs administration, policy and practice and affirms the commitment of student affairs to educating the whole student and integrating student life and learning. With over 11,000 members at 1,200 campuses, and representing 29 countries, NASPA is the largest professional association for student affairs administrators, faculty and graduate students. NASPA members are committed to serving college students by embracing the core values of diversity, learning, integrity, service, fellowship and the spirit of inquiry.
