Eastern offers a variety of distinctive graduate programs for professionals seeking advanced degrees. In addition to a strong tradition of master’s degrees in several education specialty areas, a degree in Organizational Management or Accounting is also available.

Eastern undergraduates, as well as undergraduates from other colleges, are attracted to Eastern’s Graduate Programs, which offer seasoned, professional instructors, convenient scheduling and a proven track record. Graduate students also benefit from the University’s outstanding support services, excellent library collection, state-of-the-art facilities, and liberal arts atmosphere.

The Master’s of Science in Organizational Management is for management professionals in the private and public sectors who seek to expand their knowledge and enhance their careers. The program appeals to students who have earned Bachelor Degrees in such areas as Accounting, Business, Business Information Systems, Social Services, Human Resources,Economics, and Sport and Leisure Management.

For certified teachers seeking to comply with State of Connecticut regulations, Eastern offers Master’s of Science Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Educational Technology, Elementary Education,and Secondary Education. For individuals interested in obtaining their initial teaching license along with a master’s degree, Eastern offers integrated programs in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Secondary Education. Eastern’s education programs are nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Graduates of Eastern’s education programs, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, frequently receive state and national awards in recognition of their professional standards and the quality of their teaching.

Most students pursuing graduate study at Eastern are seeking to earn a master’s degree. Eastern does have several options for graduate level work in non-degree seeking status. Students who wish to begin graduate study in non-matriculated status, or those who wish to complete specific graduate level courses may apply for admission as a non-degree seeking student.
