Eastern Sample Financial Aid Packages

The packages below are examples of actual student financial aid packages, but cannot represent all possible award packages.  All sample packages reflect students who met the FAFSA filing priority date (March 1) and who responded in a timely fashion (within two weeks) when additional information was requested to complete their application.  Don’t be late!

Vinnie

Vinnie is a dependent freshman from Middletown, CT who lives on campus during the academic year.  During the summer, he lives with his parents and sister, who also attends college full-time.  He earned straight A’s in high school and graduated within the top 10% of his class.  He filed his FAFSA on February 1st and has an EFC of $5,305.

Miranda

Miranda lives in Deerfield, MA, is transferring to Eastern as a junior and will be living on campus.  Her parents’ household size is four people and she alone in enrolled in college.  Miranda filed her FAFSA before March 1st, 2013, and has an EFC of $9,892.00.  Because she is from Massachusetts, she qualifies for reduced out-of-state tuition through the New England Regional Student Program.
