The Financial Aid Office at Eastern Connecticut State University assists parents and students who might not otherwise be able to meet their educational expenses. The staff in the Financial Aid Office is available to assist students, both current and prospective, in determining their eligibility for available financial aid.
|When filing the 2015-16 on-line FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov please use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing the FAFSA to pull your tax return data directly from the IRS into your FAFSA. If you can't use this tool because you haven't filed your tax return, access the IRS website to print your Tax Return Transcript in case we require it for documentation.|

|Beginning with the 2014-15 award year, the ECSU Foundation will make its resources, previously awarded as “Competitive Scholarships”, directly available to the Office of Financial Aid to help fund scholarships for new and returning students as part of the annual financial aid award cycle. Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1 to receive the best consideration for available aid and those students currently receiving “Competitive Scholarships” need only meet the donor’s criteria for renewal. There will no longer be a separate “Competitive Scholarship” application process.”|

|Remote DBA Scholarship
Remote DBA will award a scholarship of $3,500 to an outstanding college student pursuing studies in computer science or computer engineering with a demonstrated interest in the fields of database administration or data science. Please check the website for more information.
