V.E.T.S. Center: Eastern’s Veterans Educational Transition Services Center provides comprehensive support services to prospective and current students who are or were members of the U.S. Armed Services and their families. In addition, the center will provide assistance to student veterans dealing with and resolving their unique academic and life issues.

Post 9/11 GI Bill – Well into its sophomore year, the Post-9/11 GI Bill generation grapples with campus life and combat mentality.
Acenet.edu – The American Council on Education provides a collaborative link between the U. S. Department of Defense and higher education through the review of military training and experiences for the award of equivalent college credits for members of the Armed Forces.
Vets4Vets – A non-partisan organization dedicated to helping Iraq and Afghanistan-era veterans to heal from the psychological injuries of war through the use of peer support.

CT DoL – CT DoL lets you use your Military Occupation Classification (MOC) to identify similar occupations in the civilian workforce you may qualify for.
Veterans Enterprise – We are dedicated to the employment, education, and advancement of America’s proud servicemen and women. We aim to spread awareness of issues and opportunities concerning veterans through news and by connecting them with employers who recruit highly trained and motivated transitioning soldiers.
