For over two hundred years, the people of eastern Connecticut mill towns have produced a cascade of revolutionary creative technologies and businesses, with global impact. Today, rather than producing colorful bolts of fabric and thread, eastern Connecticut mill towns are spinning out creative technology innovations and startups. Come gain insights into their successful strategies!

A panel of Connecticut innovators and entrepreneurs will discuss their strategies, for launching and building successful innovative technology firms in Connecticut mill towns. A professional networking expert will dynamic share best practices! In addition, students from Central, Eastern, QVCC and UConn will be competing and seeking your feedback on their creative tech startup ideas and proposals.

The panel discussion and professional networking presentation will start at 3:00 PM in the Johnson Room of Eastern’s Smith Library. During the following reception, network with Connecticut entrepreneurs, innovators, and business community members. Plus, checkout and discuss the Connecticut mill town startup ideas and innovation proposal posters by college and university students scattered throughout the floor.
