Eastern Connecticut State University and the Office of AccessAbility Services is committed to serving and providing support to our student veterans as well as students who are active duty military personnel. Eastern welcomes members of the U.S. armed services and their families.
Eastern has been named one of the top eight public regional universities serving veterans in the North by U.S. News and World Report. Also, Eastern was ranked as one of the top-ranked schools that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active service members to apply, pay for and complete their degrees. The rankings include only numerically ranked schools in the 2014 edition of the U.S. News Best Colleges Guide that meet each of the following criteria: are members of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium; are certified for the GI Bill; and participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.
